Cancellations and refunds

Engagements are meetings and a written reserve note, year strip, or withdrawal agreement. This notice explains when a fee or the 800-baht holding amount is returned, when it is kept, and how to ask. It applies to the Household Emergency Fund Plan, the Reserve Adequacy Review, the Shared Household Conversation, and the Seasonal Income Reserve.

How to ask

Write to info@insightripple.click or telephone 073529684. Include the name used on the fee note, the engagement, and the meeting date. The office confirms the outcome in writing within five working days of a clear request.

Before any meeting

If you cancel at least three working days before the first meeting, the 800-baht holding amount is refunded in full. If you cancel inside those three working days, the holding amount is kept because the sitting was held on the calendar and another household could not take it. The remainder of the fee, if you had paid more than the holding amount, is refunded.

Rescheduling

You may move a confirmed meeting once, with at least two working days’ notice, at no extra fee. The holding amount stays credited to the new date. A second move, or a move with less notice, is treated as a cancellation of that sitting under the timing rules above, and a new date needs a new holding amount.

If the practice cancels

If the planner cannot attend and an alternative date within ten working days does not suit you, every amount you have paid toward that engagement is refunded in full, including the holding amount.

After work has started

For a one-meeting engagement (the Reserve Adequacy Review or the Shared Household Conversation), a meeting that has taken place is the whole engagement. The fee is kept. If the meeting ends early because of the planner, a fair portion is refunded in proportion to the time lost.

For a two-meeting engagement (the Household Emergency Fund Plan or the Seasonal Income Reserve), half the agreed fee is tied to each meeting. If you cancel after the first meeting and before the second, half the fee is kept and half is returned. The holding amount has already been counted inside the fee, so it is not refunded a second time. The draft note from the first meeting is yours to keep.

Once the written note, year strip, or agreement has been handed over, the fee for the meetings already held is kept. A revision inside the 30-day window of the Household Emergency Fund Plan is part of that fee and is not billed again. A request for a new engagement later is a new fee.

No-shows

If you do not arrive and do not send word, the sitting is a no-show. The holding amount is retained. A later date can be arranged with a new holding amount. If both adults were required, as in the Shared Household Conversation, and only one attends, the sitting is postponed once. A second arrival by only one adult is treated as a no-show for that date.

Deposits

The only advance payment is the 800-baht holding amount, unless your fee note states that you chose to pay the full fee before the meeting. Any amount above the holding amount follows the same refund rules as the fee itself. The holding amount is always credited to the fee; it is not a separate non-refundable charge when you cancel with the notice described above.

What is outside a refund

A travel amount already incurred for a home visit that you cancelled on the day is kept, because the journey was made. Travel that has not been started is refunded with the rest of the unused fee. Meetings use the papers you bring, and the fee has no materials line to return. Time you spend gathering passbooks is your own preparation.

Method and timing

Refunds are paid by bank transfer to the account that paid the practice. They are sent within 14 working days after the office confirms the amount in writing. If the original transfer cannot be reversed to that account, the office will ask for another account in the same name.

Exceptions

A refund may differ from this notice only where Thai law requires a different result, or where the planner and the household sign a different arrangement in the fee note before any payment. A verbal promise that contradicts this page is confirmed by email before it applies.
